Accepted orders will get the options ordered usually. It’s likely to do with a shortage of a part that’s involved in the XR package, as others have said.

Just don’t be surprised if your order is delayed while said part is waited on.

I’ll be extremely pissed considering I ordered in August, just found out it was built 10/10/22 and estimated delivery isn’t until 11/20/22.

My 23 XR 392 was on order as of 6/10 and finally went into production on 10/11. Expected delivery is 11/28. I don't think they will change a thing. Bet its more about getting parts. Regardless, it can't get here fast enough

Well they just cancelled the purple so what would be the point of ordering a new Jeep now anyways.
Rumor has it the Xtreme Recon will come back in January when Jeep releases the "Woody Xtreme Edition "

Engineers are working around the clock but hoping to get 40's under it with a 5" factory lift
and possibly have it run on coal as kind of a throwback edition and an "in your face" to the electric crowd
Time will tell if this pans out

I really hope the XR package is available again for order in the next few weeks. I've been holding off ordering a new Jeep until some work related things settle down. Its been a rough year and I'd be disappointed if this option isn't available.

Bad timing on my end as I just emailed my order to Kent this morning. I just emailed a note to cancel the order until something changes.

Unfortunately sold the Taco for an F150. Looks like I am holding tight now, as I want the gearing and other options in the package more than the lift.

I hope so. With all the changes, and certain trims/engines going away, I hope to see something from them.

It will come back with the 4.88 and 37" tire combo.

I think if you have a confirmed and scheduled order for an XR package it’ll go through.

I hope to see more and more XR packages in the wild. I think it looks better than the Sasquatch IMO.

I believe you're right. Kinda goes with the limited time paint. Many wanted Tuscadero, and those that got a confirmed VIN were good to go. Others had orders placed, but no VIN issued when the banks closed and they were SOL.

Everything I know/experiences is as long as I can put the order in with all the options, then it is good and will be built. Once the options have been taken away on my side, then any order after that won't be able to have them.

Probably about a month and it'll return, just be patient as it's an easy upgrade right out the gate and worth the wait for sure ?

Hey Everyone,

I didn't see the info posted here yet, but I just wanted to do a general blast and let everyone know that Extreme Recon has been removed from all Wranglers. Rubicons, Willys, 392. Nothing on my ordering side shows it's available, so I hope everyone who wanted it put their order in already. I hope it comes back, and will let everyone know, but at least for the time being it's not available.

I was just able to configure a Willys with the XR package online!
