Hello all. Of course some of you may have used this but it is a first for me. I am always looking for a good quick detailer that works good and has a good bang for the buck. Months back I could not find any quick detailer anywhere. I finally found some chemical guys at Walmart. I have never used it before. My first impression was that it was ok, not saying there is anything wrong with it, it just didn't make me go WOW this stuff is great. In fact it takes some elbow grease to make sure it is rubbed in good or it will streak. Of course this is applying with one cloth and using a new clean one to buff in.
So almost out of the chemical guys, and was at Walmart yesterday and saw this finish fast exterior by Seafoam. First thing is it's 24 ozs for $7.99 and chemical guys is 16 ozs for $9.99 that's always a good thing.
So I gave it a try this morning, and WOW impressed. It rubs in quicker and easier, and absolutely no streaking and the shine I think is better. Of course it states that it protects, shines, UV protection etc. But one thing I noticed is it actually states that once applied mud, dirt, bugs etc. Will remove easier. I don't know about anyone else but that's one of the things I look for. If it helps the mud, and crud to come off after being off road that's a plus. I am impressed, once applied it is extremely smooth and shinny and a cloth will just glide right over the hood all the way off. Also the hard top in certain areas like on the back gate leaves water run off marks where water runs off. I noticed with the chemical guys it did not remove these marks even with considerably buffing. The Sea Foam, one pass and a little buffing, marks were gone.
So I thought I would share in case anyone wants to give it a try.
