Jeep Wrangler JL Budget practical adventure build b9b45702-ec08-4cc9-a2d9-b0d8cd15a6da-jpe

Flexing the new tires at gold mountain. Was able to complete the trail and earn the BOH with the current configuration of the build.

No lockers yet. But will be installing a front locker very soon, just waiting to finish some home upgrades which are priority.

Sweet :) how do you engage it?
It is automatic. Engages under load on 4WD or 4LO.

Took for a test drive. Cant even tell it is there. Best thing, i did the install in my own driveway. Comes with a 4 year warranty. US made

Awesome brother. That’s kick ass. You’ll have to let us know how you like it when you get it off road since I’m sure it’ll be soon.

Haven’t been able to take my jeep out since getting my parts installed. Been gone the last few weekends and helping parent in laws move this weekend. It’ll come soon!

yes. So far so good. Its served its purpose really well. One of the reasons i locked the front is because on technical climbs the rear locks, front open, and it lifts the front a lot.
What kind of locker is this? Brand?
It is a "torque masters locker" Aussie style, similar to a lunchbox but with better onroad manners. I cant hear any clicking at all, you dont even know it is there. It is pretty nice and install wasnt too bad. It also replaces the dana30 tiny spider gears which is a plus. Locker also comes with a 5 year warranty or something like that.

I was curious as I had a lunchbox in the 71 Scout II. It was great... until it wasn't.

Lol what happened?

I cant even feel this thing. With the FAD it doesnt lock until you get it on 4WD. Then it is always on. It is really nice. i got the jeep on 4WD for a bit and couldnt hear any clicking either. Being in Idaho I would assume you had some interesting moments while snow driving lol.

I did a lot of research before going this route. Even called the company and talked to a few people who have them. Theyre really nice. And honestly i got worse feedback from eaton e lockers.

Did you eventually add the 1" spacer on top of the rubi springs? if yes, may I know what is the length of bump stops you are using front and rear
TIA

I did. I ended up adding 1inch front and rear for bumpstops. I used the metalcloak extendable bumpstops.
