We will agree to disagree but that can happen with not doing anything. Those scratches aren’t deep and are just dirt rubbing against the paint. No wax, ceramic sealant or any other chemical is going to save your paint from scratches. The only thing that will protect from real scratches is PPF so that gets scratched and then you can peel it off. My point is those aren’t scratches. Take your CMX coated car on the exact same line as a not coated and the result will be the exact same. The CMX will just be easier to wipe clean but the paint will look the exact same.

I would not want folks to think putting a wax or ceramic coating is going to save their paint from scratches, it won’t. It will just make cleaning easier.

I'm having my Jeep CMX coated first of next week. It's not going to protect against deep scratches but it is harder than clear coat & next time I have a light scratch buffed out it will be coming out of the CMX and not my clear coat. Also protects the plastic, lights etc from oxidation.

I used the Meguiars version prior to a minor trail last Sunday. I didn’t read instructions but it doesn’t make a difference. You’re supposed to spray and rinse. That’s it. I put it on like spray wax and didn’t buff to a shine. I left it. I then went around a few times with car wash wax and spot free, low pressure rinse trying to leave the wax. There were light brush marks from brush and very small branches. After another low pressure rinse, I don’t see scratches. Maybe it’s better than nothing but I could just be lucky.
