Brake pedal vibration

I recently purchased a Wrangler 392 and within 50 miles of getting it home, we've taken it on a road trip. Around 2K miles it developed a weird sensation in the brake pedal. Sometimes, but not always, within the first 1/2 to 1 in of brake pedal travel, I get this weird vibration in the brake pedal. Best way I can describe it is like air escaping past a seal, or the shaft hanging up, then releasing on a seal multiple times.
I'd take it to the dealer, but the closest one is an hour away.

Do you know what a warped rotor feels like? I kinda doubt it’s that with that few miles on it. Could be a glazed spot in a rotor or the ABS is screwing up. Could also be the power assist which is now electric. Time for a trip to the dealer.

As was said, sounds a little like a rotor warped or a brake pad is having a problem. You didn't slam on your brand new brakes did ya

I’m Pretty familiar with warped rotors and this isn’t that, warped rotors varries with speed, and this is constant when it happens. My sneaking suspicion is a seal in the in the master cylinder or booster. Also thought it may be when the car is in 4-cyl mode, but can’t confirm that.
