This morning on the Discount Tire web page they showed the 305/70/17 sized KO3 coming out in August 2024. Now the page has disappeared. Somebody must have posted something they weren't supposed to.......

Tires are a consumable, wear-item. It doesn't matter when they come out, you (the collective) will still buy them, this year or in two or three years.

I don't care when they're coming out, KO2's have been overall mediocre. Not sure why people rave about them so much. Next tires will be Baja Boss AT.

Because everyone drives in different conditions. KO2s are absolutely fantastic for me in the desert. I drive them on sharp rocky trails and in sand. If I lived somewhere with rain or snow, maybe I would think differently.

People rave about them because they are the end-all be-all of tires. There is no greater tire. When Gawd drives the Rubicon, he does it in his/her stock Toyota 4Runner, running BFGs.

As long as companies are fine with losing one or two or three years of sales, sure.

BFG isn't going to lose years of sales though, the KO2 will still sell, until all available sizes of the KO3 are available. There isn't a loss, there is a transition from sales of the KO2 to the buyers now buying what's on the shelf. They don't stop selling tires for two years, because buyers just buy what BFG makes.

I had a lot of hopes when I heard about new K03’s.
I like the lighter weight tire and C load rating. Want more of a newer RT tread pattern.
I can’t see much difference from my current 35x12.5R17 K02…. which actually measures only 33.75” on stock XR 17” wheel. Air pressure was 36 psi.
Measured by using a 4’ bubble level and tape measure.

They're supposed to be better in snow, ice, and rain.
