Bestop Halftop?

I talked to bestop, they said they were engineering it for a 2024, so I wonder why there is a discrepancy. They even changed the website to only 2023

I'm obviously a Bestop fan, and would never unknowingly talk shit without knowing a thing or two. But that sounds like nothing but a money grab to me. They go onto 2024s with no issues. Nothing about the shape of the tub changed for 2024, and the sleeves go over the rear roll bars just fine. Nothing else from 2023-204 would have made a difference for the halftop.

Oh no, I was just stating that for my own sake - never meant to imply that you were accusing me of anything. All good man.

I sent a message to the guy I installed the Halftop onto a 2024 with and gave him a link to this thread. Hopefully he gets back to me!

@BuzzyIAm and @cafecito820, the Halftop is being re-designed for the 2024's because the way the 4way bow installs and is positioned, its different on the 24's than it is on the 23's. I'm glad to hear that you were able to install it @cafecito820 but there will be a new design for 2024 and up!

I noticed the halftop is now available for 2024 wrangler jl but only 4 door. Will there be a 2 door version?

Actually the Halftop for the 2024 and up will have a separate application due to a change in the thickness of the trim panels, which effects how the top fits. There will be both 2 and 4 door applications for the JL Halftop, once the change has been implemented
