I recently had a "fun" off-road adventure here in AZ, detailed in this post, and walked away with a little body damage/deep scratches from some rocks that wanted to go to second base with me. Let me just throw out there, I really don't care about this kind of stuff, the Jeep is being used for what it was meant for, and its getting the scars to prove it, so I'm not sweating bullets that I "scratched my baby!!"

That being said, I've read good things online about the Quadratec pens for small touch ups like this, and I'm totally willing to spend a few bucks to make it look decent again. Anyone have experience with these touch up pens, or have any other products they'd suggest?

Granite Crystal Metallic, obviously ;) TIA!
Sorry for the mud on the pic, but you can see the white scratches on the door panel, and the hinge that got the worst of it.

I use the Mopar one for my Hellayella. Perfect match and works great.

I've only used the mopar one.

I don't know if it's just a goofy paint pen I got from them or what. But most of my touchups look a bit more aluminumie than the factory paint. Applying the clearcoat dulls it down and makes a difference, but it still looks a bit off.

What is this clearcoat you speak of? Is it a second pen i'd need to get? Thanks!

The Mopar paint pen is multi-functional. It includes a little fiber endpoint to sand it down a bit. Then it includes a small toothpick like paint pen that doesn't work. Then there's the brush with the color. At the very bottom is a small bottle of clear coat that gets applied over the paint.

Pretty much one pen does it all.

I have used several Mopar paint pens over the years. I Liked the one with the small brush the best, but the paint pen was ok too. Just depends on the size of the area you want to attack.

I'm liking the sound of these all in one brush/pens, I think I'll check one out!

I use Testors model paint. You can buy it at Hobby Lobby. Use a very fine paint brush. Works better than any touch up I’ve ever used.

Find a color that’s as close as possible. It may even match better than the OEM supposedly paint code matched touch up.

How did this work out for you? I just ordered a bottle off eBay. Micro Auto Group seems legit. They have their own website and are apparently BASF color certified (for what that's worth).....

Works out well. I only used it for stone chips.

Just wondering which white Testors you use to match your bright white?
