How does the 5 CFM at 40 psi compare to other compressors that are often rated at 0 psi. I would like to know how it compares to an ARB twin, and other compressors.

All I could easily find is the ARB brushless twin. Is 6.20 cfm at 29psi and 9.18 cfm at 0psi and this graph on the other products

Jokes aside, are there/will there be alternative power connections? For example, for my Viair, I can plug it into the 7 pin trailer connector.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
I have the Wolfbox prototype of this compressor. I have aired three sets of 37s and a set of 40s after getting done with Moab Rim with out giving the compressor a break. Taking the 37s from 10 PSI to 27 to 30 psi and the guy on 40s went from 9 to 37 psi. It did not skip a beat.

When I mounted my 40s on my bead lock wheels, I ran the Wolfbox against my garage Kobalt 26 gallon 175 psi compressor. The 40s were at zero psi and the rear bead was not set. The Wolfbox compressor was faster than my garage compressor by one psi. meaning that the Wolbox compressor shut off at 27 psi and the Kobalt had the other 40 at 26 psi.

I also have a dual ARB compressor mounted in the Jeep. While I have not raced the Wolfbox against the ARB yet....... My Jeep has been at the suspension shop now for two weeks. I plan to race the the Wolfbox agains the ARB dual compressor. The Wolbox is more convenient to use as you just set the tire pressure you want in the tire and it fill the tire to your desired psi. Where as the ARB, does not automatically turn off. I know the newer ARBs will turn off, but they are substantially more money than the Wolfbox compressor.

I see on the Wolfbox site, the compressor is $329. Having an ARB, duel compressor that I have had to replace the pressure switch three times in the last 4 years, and the cost of the pressure switch from ARB is about $40 plus I have to pull out the passenger seat of the Jeep un install the compressor, un hook the air locker lines to disassemble the compressor to replace the switch, and the ARB is almost $1000 by the time you buy the mounts, it makes the Wolfbox compressor look pretty attractive. I don't think it would take much to mount the Wolfbox compressor in the Jeep.

It depends on the compressor's max current draw. The 7-pin aux power circuit is usually fused around its limit, so a high-draw compressor could pop the fuse. Even if it doesn't, that's a long wire run to the rear, so you'll likely see noticeable voltage drop under load.

I have my ARB single mounted in the cargo area and I plug into the 7-pin when powering it. That works because the amp draw is less than 40 amps. Dual ARB exceeds 40 amps. I believe I looked up this new Wolfbox compressor early this morning and site stated 65 amps max. So no 7-pin option. Sounds like a cool option for a compressor though.

Makes sense. Didn't realize it was drawing that much amperage.

The 7-pin set up sounds very convenient, is there a kit for the ARB single or is this something you wired up?

I wired it up myself. I have the compressor mounted on the underside of my attic rack with it wired to one of the OEM dash switches. When I attach the hoses to my tires, I plug in the 7-pin connector, then jump in to start the Jeep and press the switch while watching the PSI display on the dash. It’s accurate within about 2psi. Not as fast as the Napa 10cfm portable compressor I used to use but better than opening the hood and hauling that heavy beast around.
