I guess I’m going to ask here in hopes that someone has ran into this issue before me. I recently bought a set of kmc beadlocks. I’ve thought about it a lot and have decided that the raw rings and gold bolts aren’t going to fit with the look I want. I want them all black.

I’ve pretty much gotten the rings figured out. I’m going to have them powder coated. The problem is the bolts. Does anyone know where I can get replacement bolts with a black head? I know I could paint them but I need them to hold up and look nice long term. Anyone had this issue before or have any ideas.

Meh, just wheel them, scratch the shit out of them and paint then. Powder coating scratches just as easy. While you're wheeling and scratching them, reach out to KMC and ask about black bolts.

You can purchase bolts with black oxide coating, but I think they will start rusting within a few months.

I would just rattle can the existing ones and touch them up as needed.
