I used a DEWALT electric air pump on mine yesterday, worked great, so basically a bicycle hand pump would probably work.

Most people are under the impression that the oil filter housing is what drains down put in fact its the hole filter housing and the oil cooler that drain down back to the oil pan.
That's a lot of air that now has to be pushed though the oil galleys.

If you press the brake and the gas pedal at the same time and hit start, you will crank the engine without starting it and you can prime it back up
