Hi,
My wife purchased her Rubicon X with the 35s a few week ago. She doesn't really want to take her new Jeep to any place other that the Ouachitas for it's virgin offroad voyage. We have a place there and go every few weeks but our next trip is the 8th of Sept and I want to do a day trip tomorrow. I am going to try to talk her into Barnwell tomorrow.
We are pretty new to offroading and haven't done much besides countless hours in the Ouachita National Forest. Are there some easier trails that are pretty wide at Barnwell so we don't damage or scratch it up on the first time out? It also only has 400 miles on it so I want to break it in a little more.
If not, are there trails big enough for my TRX? I don't want to drive 2+ hours there and only have a handful of miles we can go on. The TRX has pinstripes bumper to bumper and has handled pretty rough stuff at Crossbar and Bridgeport but we purchased a Jeep because the TRX is so big.
I am sure when she gets her first damage/pinstripes, at the Ouachitas, she will lighten up a lot and let it be a Jeep.
