American jeeper if I just do two on the pillars would you do both spots or any combo I was told if i do any floods on the pillar it will glare off the hood. So just do spots and that will be the brightest on the pillar ?

How much is the forum discount 10% or more?

I recieved an email very shortly after my last post. After calls and some emails it took a forum post to get a response

It is 10% off their price of $324, which is already $32 more than on every other site. A quick google search shows the price of $292. So the discount essentially covers the mark-up of their site.

Also, their military discount is also only 10%, the same discount for anyone. I waited a week to receive a military discount quote only to be told 10%. Really? I could have just used he forum code to get that, or ordered from anywhere else.

I have given up on BD sales... I recieved a quote with no way to pay for it (normally you get instructions or a link to make a purchase on a an email quote.) I emailed back and am waiting once again, going on two days just to figure out how to give them my money for the quote I recieved. Over two weeks now total. F me, I give up. I can’t give them my money, lmao Makes me wonder what a warranty claim would be like...

In my experience with BD, I do believe the extreme rise in exposure to the Jeep market and huge increase in demand may be causing some growing pains. The quality is there but they are busy busy and it sounds like that’s slowing down response time. Hopefully things will normalize a bit for them to catch up!

And hey I don’t mind that at all! It’s just that what could have been done in two emails has taken 11, I’m not kidding. If you are that slow cover as much ground as you can in one email, it’s not that hard... All I wanted to know was what military discount they provided (which is the same freaking discount for everyone, so why make it seem like it’s different!?) I could give 2 sh$&s about the discount now, but it’s a matter of principal. And don’t make it seem like you are offering a special military discount when they are not. post more info on the site and I would have just bought the damn lights from another vendor for a lesser price.

I digress, sorry for the rant, but dealing with this company reminds me of talking to the VA, which is painful.

I get it. One thing I noticed with a lot of groups is they give the multiples of the same discounts which have separate codes so they can track origins and see what is successful and where to focus more energy/resources. Thank you for your service by the way!

Ah, that makes sense! Well, I hope they read this and just put the percentage and/or stipulations of the discounts on their website under the text on the page that states they offer a military discount... I bet that would decrease a lot of calls/emails.

I tried that (mentioned it in first post), I was on hold for 15 minutes then it randomly transferred me to the wrong department, then I was transferred back to sales, I waited on the phone for another 10 and decided to just email... I am not an unreasonable person it’s just ludicrous.

I know some of you own the lights, and are naturally defensive for something you bought into. Others have recieved the product for free and are here to promote. And lastly some are looking for information. I am writing to the latter. Just sharing my experience at this point, as it’s gone beyond the expected small operation waiting times, to horrendous customer service.

Furthermore, I am so salty at this point, I am going to go a different direction. Thanks to all, for the replies!

I currently have Rigid industries D-Series Midnight Series 3' cubes on Baja Design brackets. I am not impressed with the light output of the Rigid lights. I am tempted to get a pair of these Squadron Pro, https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-r-pro-led-wide-cornering-amber.asp.

Does anyone have the amber ones installed? Any photos? Reviews?
