Anyone else have some badges that are fading? My Schnebly hill has faded to a lighter brown color as compared to the rest of the badges. Not sure if this is some sort of metaphor in that the badge may fade but the pain in my neck caused by the ride on Schnebly will never fade.........

I don't put mine on the paint of my Jeep. Reason one is because of fading. Reason 2 is if you ever decide to remove them there is a good chance your paint is coming with them. Especially if they have been there for several years.

Oh man - that is so true! The Sedona side of that trail is a beating. My wife and daughter were so done after about 30 mins....but the payoff view was pretty amazing!

Don't know, but my OCD is kicking-in hard on your badge placement.

Yeah, if you’re going to stick them to your rig, glass is the way to go. I used to think they were pretty cool but the charm has (pun intended) faded over time. Now they seem kind of cringe, so I keep ‘em in a drawer.

Maybe could spray some clear coat over them?

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
I'd probably just buy them all, all at once if you can. That way they all have the same finish.

I wouldn't want them on glass because they'd block the view I'd imagine.

Fair enough. I still like them though. They are great conversation starters. Also my 10 year old nephew loves to see what badges are new every time I go to visit which is always fun.

Maybe it's just Schnebly then. My first badges are still black, not faded at all.
