I was spoiled because my first badge ever was Pinyon and that showed up 5 days after I ran it.

My first couple came quickly. The rest have been a mix. I'm currently waiting on one of four badges from my October 3 trip to Moab. Golden Spike is still showing backorder. It gets a little easier waiting as you get more. But the big milestone trails are harder to wait for.

My original plan was to put them on in order of how I ran them and soon gave that up as I was waiting forever for my Moab badges.

Weird. October 16th Golden Spike came pretty quickly too.

Also I knew going in when I requested them that that they could take some random amount of time from right away and potential years

Hopefully he's ok. I'm guessing he didn't take people questioning his claims very well and got hostile this morning?

Quite possibly. Maybe the admins were out doing some trails and initially missed those.

I was thinking BOH should just do a trifecta of Poison Spider, Golden Spike, and Gold Bar Rim. Maybe even toss in Where Eagles Dare. I mean you really can't do Golden Spike without doing Gold Bar Rim, unless you turn around at the north end of Golden Spike and retrace your route. Gold Bar Rim is as technical or more so than Golden Spike, but has a name that sounds like a candy bar.

Yep, that's what we did. My wife isn't a fan of significant heights, so we skipped Where Eagles Dare simply due to its name.

Maybe they're thinking that Moab already has enough badges / badge trails?

Looks like the BOH program is struggling to keep up with the trails that opened a few weeks ago in Colorado. I keep checking the app to get my last 3 CO badges and they are still on backorder from 6 weeks ago.
