Automatic transmission gear indicator?

2020 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited 3.6, with auto trans. I was told that a digital gear indicator is on the instrument panel for the automatic trans. I have yet to find it. How do you tell what gear your trans in?

I just went out to look at the display options in settings and nothing is there about the gear indicator. A dealer trip is in the future.

It's definitely there unless they added it recently (and isn't on 2020s). When enabled it shows a small # to the right of "D" to indicate what gear it's in.

Thanks everyone, I found it. I was looking at the setttings on the radio head not the speedo panel. Now I have the gear display,

Thanks @davis53 for asking about this. I have a '15 Grand Cherokee that displays the current gear in the instrument cluster and was bummed that my JLU did not. I looked, but somehow missed the settings where it was also.

Read the manual, we don't need no stinking manual. I looked at the manual several times and could not find it, but what do I know.

It's only about 500 pages, how could you miss it. ?

Oh, and it's even more spread out in the 4 edition of the manual so I used the 3rd.

Only read the manual after F#<king around trying stupid stuff screwing things up, repeat a couple times until completely frustrated- scratch head- try the same things again getting the same results-beer, read manual.? Oops, forgot ask on forum before read manual
