Auto Start / Stop Warning Light stays on after replacing both batteries

I Have a 2021 Wrangler JL Rubicon with the 2.0 liter engine. I have replaced both main battery and auxiliary battery and the warning light went away for 2 years. It came on again, so i replaced the batteries again and now the light stays on permanently. What can else could be causing the warning light to stay on?

A bad IBS is one candidate.

A S/S warning light can illuminate for a lot a reasons, many of which have absolutely nothing to do with the batteries. A sticking hood switch for example.

I just replaced the original hood switches to resolve a dashboard warning light. All good now.

Thank you for the help. Would you happen to know if both of the switches the same part #? I would like to change them both out at the same time but want to make sure before ordering them online.

A bad IBS is one candidate.

Mine turned out to be the IBS. 10 minutes to swap it out if you don’t want to bother with the dealer.

I had a bad case of IBS a couple of years ago. Unfortunately it didn't come with a warning light of any kind!

I replaced both hood switches and unfortunately it did not fix the warning light. I will now try replacing the IBS Sensor.

I have replaced both batteries, both hood switches and the IBS sensor and the error code still exists. Not sure what else i could check.
