Auto-Dimmer Mirror Connector

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone would know where I could possibly get an empty pigtail connector. Specifically the 4 pin connector off the auto dimming mirror. Without just cutting it off the mirror or needing to buy an entire mirror for the connector.

Pictures of the connector below, I have seen a few posts asking something similar but with no results (that I could find).

My goal is to tap into the power for the auto dimmer to run my wolfbox dashcam. Looking for a cleaner look as opposed to running wires down to the 12v or fuse panel.

I appreciate the info. That looks like the vehicle side connector. Based on the info in these datasheets, I would need the male end or mirror side connector. I have the Wolfbox G930, nothing special, but it works well. As of right now, I have it plugged into the 12v lighter outlet.

Oops, you are correct, let me look again. Here’s what my G900 install looks like…not too terrible but definitely not OEM. Are you thinking you would eliminate the ports on the top of the Wolfbox mirror somehow and just hardwire the factory male connector? I’m interested

I was looking to use the the autodimmer power to power the wolfbox without needing to run a seperate power some place else, seeing the connetor is right there.

I do like the look of yours. What part is that?

G900 mirror with their “OEM mirror mount“. I just used some wire loom over the wiring. The cover on top of the mirror is just a 3d print that friction fits between the back of the mirror and the bracket that mounts to the back of the mirror to accept their factory style mount.

Worst case scenario, I just re-pin the connector from my mirror. I was just hoping I could find a $2 blank connector instead of doing all that. I'll see what I can do, and if anyone wants some details after that, I'll be happy to provide them.

Search Amazon for Dash cam power adapter from Pixelman, Mangoal US to name a couple, and see if the gave anything that matches your connector

I did find this, Dashcam Power Jeep it may be what I have to go with, i thought I could just directly wire to the dashcam but it runs on 5v not 12v, i would need a converter in the loop.

12vdc to 5vdc converter Here. Not exactly tiny at 1.8 x 1 x 0.5 inches, but I've used them before without a failure.
