I've noticed over the years, dictation software and/or features in technology, they tend to do better with deeper voices. Like my wife and my mom have always had issues with dictation software. It also helps if you speak calmly and slowly. Sounding out each word as you say it, it does a whole lot better. While I can tap/swipe on my phone fairly quickly (and even do the old 2ABC numpad/T9 crap pretty fast), I still can't bring myself to type forum posts out on anything other than a regular keyboard. It's just tedious imo and feels completely different than shooting off a sentence or two in a quick text message, where the receiver knows your inputting via phone.
I tried dictating shit into my phone maybe once or twice and quickly realized it wasn't any faster or more accurate than tapping stuff out and just felt kinda douchy, like I was Dick Tracey talking into my futuristic wrist watch.
"Hey Google! Gooo-guul! What's the weather like in Milwaukee? No, not wetter MILFs in Waikiki - I said Mil-wau-kee you crappy piece of shit!" ?

I remember my mom getting pissed at her Cadillac DTS back in the day, and I would speak to it calmly slowly and try and deepen my voice a little bit, and it would work great every time. My mom used to hate that, she would say that the Cadillac was sexist!
