Just a quick shoutout for BD making quality products that work amazingly well. My last JT build had a different big brand set of lights and wasn't happy with them. On the current JLURD build, decided to try out BD, as pictured, 2 LP6's driving combo for the front and a pair of squadron pros for ditch lights.

For myself, didn't want to have to mount 8-10 lights to get what I wanted/needed for frequent night runs I host and BD delivered exactly what I needed. Thanks again..... Should probably get a night pic haha.

I know you didn't ask me, but I've added multiple BD lights to my Jeep that all cover different purposes. I personally recommend a set of Squadrons with wide cornering lenses mounted in front of the a-pillars. I have mine angled about 45° outward and slightly down to serve as flank/ditch lighting. It also places the light source behind the front end, which helps to see where and what I'm turning into.

Here's some pics that show the coverage off to the sides, including what the tire is aiming at. I wanted the brightest light, so I opted for the Squadron Pros. If not needing maximum lumen output and wanting to spend a bit less, the Squadron Sports also put out a good amount of light.

Thanks Headbarcode, great pics. Love the coverage to the sides. How is the glare on the hood? Also, is the amber light coming from bumper mounted LP4s? If so they do not put out as much cornering light as I would have expected with their IPT. Then again it might be getting washed out from the squadrons.

The wide cornering Squadron Pros on the a-pillars don't cause any noticeable glare the hood that can be seen from the drivers seat. Even the pair of forward facing Squadron Pros with spot lenses don't cause enough hood glare to be an actual issue.

Yes, the amber lighting is from the four LP4 Pros on my front bumper. Their peripheral lights produce enough light to fill in the immediate sides, but don't compare to the dedicated white wide cornering Squadrons. The LP4's serve much better as forward facing lights.

I'm pretty sure that the LP4's peripheral diodes only put out 1500 lumens total, so 750 lumens per side. The Squadron Pros put out 4600 lumens.

@Baja Designs What is the average lifetime of your LED light chips? And as a follow up question, how does that compare to the lifetime of other brands LED chips?

Also for $300 for a two pod kit, do y'all offer a lifetime guarantee on the LED chips? Like will y'all replace them if they burn out in 10 years?

They said “Ask us anything…” lol
They are either
A. All attention to your product name is good attention and they are just glad we keep refreshing this post.
Or
B. Seriously rethinking their life choices, and wondering why they have to keep responding to these knuckleheads on the internet who think that they are hilarious.
