Do the LP4 Pro lights have amber backlighting?

Yes. Both the clear and amber lense LP4 Pros have an amber backlight...Do the LP4 Pro lights have amber backlighting?
Yes, the LP4s do come with the backlighting.Do the LP4 Pro lights have amber backlighting?
Just to add to the info that Brandon gave. This is what worked for me to wire BD lights to the aux switches. It required a 5-pin relay between the aux switches and the BD lights. Aux 1 or 2 to pin 30, 87a to low beam, aux 3 or 4 to pin 86, 87 to high beam, and 85 to ground. You'll need to energize both buttons to get high beams but won't be sending power to both the high and low beam at the same time with this setup. I recommend aux 3 or 4 as they're lower amperage than aux1/2, and you're simply using 3 or 4 as the relay trigger to switch power to the high beam. This saves the second more powerful aux button for something else.Thank you so much for confirming.
Last question is. With upfitter wiring, I can wire low/high/back light to different OEM aux switches.
It would be safe to turn both low and high on at the same time?
I read it was not safe earlier.
Hey @Headbarcode, We are all hands on deck here working on getting the new SAE lights built up. For orders placed on the lights release, (Post March 1st) there is a 10 week lead time and may experience further delays. Hope this helps give you an idea.I ordered a set of the new Squadron SAE's and a set of S2 Pros on March 11th. Order number 129738. I just received the S2's yesterday, and that got me wondering. Is there any estimated time frame that you could provide for when I might get my grubby little hands on your sexy new lights?
Thanks Brandon!
Was just curious, so thought I'd use it as an excuse to take advantage of your thread.Hey @Headbarcode, We are all hands on deck here working on getting the new SAE lights built up. Damn it, I was gonna ask! What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
I'm not interested! Is that an African or European swallow?
I know you didn't ask me, but I've added multiple BD lights to my Jeep that all cover different purposes. I personally recommend a set of Squadrons with wide cornering lenses mounted in front of the a-pillars. I have mine angled about 45° outward and slightly down to serve as flank/ditch lighting. It also places the light source behind the front end, which helps to see where and what I'm turning into.BD, have a recommendation? I drive my JLU w/stock LED lights on night forest service roads/trails a lot and need more wide cornering coverage to better see very sharp turns, drops offs, etc. The useable space on my front bumper is limited to pre-fab mounts on the bull bar. The BD products I am looking at are 1) Onx6 10" bar with wide cornering lens; 2) squadron pros for a-pillars with driving combo lenses; or 3) LP4s with IPT deflectors on a-pillars. For my needs the lows send out enough light forward, I just can't stand not seeing where I am turning on those roads. I suspect both Onx6 and a-pillar lights are overkill, but could be convinced otherwise. Any suggestions?
Hey @MOC, Thanks for reaching out for guidance. There are a lot of lighting setups out there, for what you are planning on doing I would recommend The Squadron Pros in a wide corner aimed far out to cover the left and right angles of the trails and possibly doing a driving combo OnX6 or even an S8 light bar in the front. This package will give you a great amount of forward facing light and a great left to right coverage while utilizing wide corner on the a-pillars. This will also remove any chance of hood glare that will be present on a forward facing driving combo lens pattern.BD, have a recommendation?
