I took care of all my financing yesterday and got hosed on the extended warranty price. Any suggestions before I call the dealer to take it off my contract? Do I have to rescind the entire deal?

Did you do all the paperwork before it was delivered? I want to use my golden ticket and might IF it's at least in the state (it's going to be close as it's in New Mexico and I think will go through riverside then trucked down. I'm going to be right on the line and might press to write it up next week if that's an option?

Yes, I did it all yesterday to avoid coming in on a holiday to do it. It doesn’t bind until I take delivery.

Good afternoon @JLWF Dealer Guy! I spoke with Jeep Customer Care because the amount of orders piling up in JB had me a bit curious as to why. Heather says the hard tops are back ordered until mid-March and to talk to our dealer about it. What are your thoughts? What are our options at this point? We can’t change an order past D. Can they ship it with the soft top and ship the hard top later? Thank you

You don’t have to redo, the entire thing. Why do you feel that you got hosed? Protection is good. Unless you feel the price was too high.

Oh yes, I have a question, How many times has the salesmen informed the customer about the new JL wranglers having the ESS system installed on them. Before you answer, we tested this theory at 5 local dealerships in our area MD 1 out of 5 actually told us about the ESS while the others either didn't have a clue as to what ESS was or simply acted stupid knowing that if they told us that the jeep had ESS on it they would lose a sale. In other words, the salesman have no clue as to how to actually sell these jeeps because it's a flop.

I'm pretty impressed you left the forum for a year and came back just to shit some more on ESS. That is commitment!

Will wait till it’s all available. Will not ship the hot later

Seems high. When you pick it up tell them you want to cancel it. See them come back at a reasonable rate

From what I’m hearing, all of the above are currently restricted. If I ordered soon, will they wait until all the restrictions are lifted to build mine, or would the build it, and hold it while waiting for the hard top and/or LEDs?
