@JLWF Dealer Guy, looking at the latest order guide with the 2.0L, it shows that the tan top is N/A with the 3.6L, is that true or possibly an error in the guide?

hi dealer guy,Sport no, Rubicon, yes.
You are correct, it looks like the Hard top has come back open for the Sport.hi dealer guy,
i may be missing something, but I ordered a JL sport s with black 3 piece hard top today. I have got a POC and there's a VON on it. and in 4EA-sold vehicle too. My order really went through, right? Maybe the restriction on hardtops have lifted??
Have attached my POC. Thanks.
Summer around July is usually when they build out the current model year and re-tool for the next. The initial colors will be they same most likely...In this case, they may not conceal the late availability colors like they did with the first year model. Usually, they release the paint guide and say "late availability" on the ones coming later. I have a feeling that is what you will get for the 2019 color wise. When to look for that? September-ish.As a Jeep dealer, when have you typically seen the new model years come out, or at least be announced? I've planned on getting a Jeep for years, and waited another year or so when I found out there was a new one coming out. Problem is, I'm not really thrilled with the 2018 color options (really was hoping for a Sahara Tan or Gobi type color, or Tank Green), and since I'm planning on keeping this for a long time, am considering waiting another year for the 2019 models, in hopes that one of those two colors is added to the lineup next year. I figure I've waited this long, maybe another year isn't terrible to (hopefully) get exactly what I want. Thoughts?
Wow thanks for the quick reply! Hate the idea of another summer without a Jeep, but definitely helps to have the info...Summer around July is usually when they build out the current model year and re-tool for the next. Potentially you can get them when you pick it up. The issue with these keys is that they are not a normal cut-able key. They are lazer cut. Most deaelrships wont invent the $15k for a lazer cutting machine so they order them based on the VIN from the manufacturer. I don't know when your VIN would be able to have extra keys cut for them though being it's not actually invoiced yet. Contact your dealer and have them look into it for you.hey @JLWF Dealer Guy. My jeep is in G status and I am trying to have 2 extra keys/fobs made for it. Last time I checked dealer wasn't sure how this would work since so new. Do you know if you can order extra keys and fobs and a cost for that (I want two extra)? Shouldnt I be able to get them with the Jeep when I pick it up?
Yea, they are so new that it may take a bit. They just opened up. None of the orders I have for the 2.0 have VIN's either. I'm excited for you though. The 2.0 with the 8 speed drives fantastic in the Alfa. If its the same for the Wrangler, I think it will be a home run.hey @JLWF Dealer Guy, I ordered fully loaded Rub with 2.0 last week. I have VON from dealer, but VIN has not been generated. Do you know if there is a delay in the 2.0 units? Thanks
