is that a premium soft top? How is the noise level?

It is. It's eerily quiet...even with rain. I practiced taking the back windows out and putting top up and down. No velcro....and as easy as the past model was to put down this one is even easier. When you push it back it folds neatly...no tucking it back to keep it from sagging over the back seats.

Congrats on your new Jeep! I had a white 2015 JK and enjoyed that color.

You bring up a good point about rain. I had the dual top on my JK and the hard top was louder in a heavy rain with drops echoing on the hard top.

JLWF Dealer guy, I just ordered my 2 door rubi and apparently my parts department is offering a "lift package" that I'd like your opinion on.
I have a quote for the 2 inch lift, 35 Ko2, hinge reinforcement, tire carrier, brake light relocation bracket, and Mopar beadlock wheels (with the fake beadlock) with labor at 7999.99 quote did not show tax. Does this seem like a good price, all items were full msrp and 1546 labor. The labor is 145 an hour so its over 10 hours of work to do all this?
Oh, I also forgot it includes the re-calibration for the 35s

Question for any dealer or new owner, As far as I know, no one has removed the red dash panels from a Rubicon? it is something that people had mentioned due to the forced choice of a red dash with rather mismatched exterior body colours,anyone aware if these are easily removable as having the option to remove and repaint/cover them would probably make some interior /exterior combinations look better, although I have no idea why we need to go through these hoops when Jeep could easily make a silver dash or black leather (vinyl) an option!

I just printed out the new re-issued order itemized list (02/07/2018) but need some things clarified:

1) the listing states that the Rubicon comes with an Auxiliary Battery (BC2). I have been trying to find out where the auxiliary battery is located, but several Forum members have stated that there is no aux. battery!
Is the aux battery stuck in the underbody box where the Turbo 48Volt battery will be located?

2) Confused why the order lists the Turbo engine (BSG) with the 48Volt lithium battery/belt generator when this system won't be on the Turbo until late 2018 or early 2019

It’s still not available on the new colors for some reason. Opening colors are orderable.

I am wanting to order either Punk’N or Stingrey, but can’t find any real “confirmed” dates for the latter. Does anyone have any solid information around when a dealer can place an order for Stingrey? I have a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk in Rhino, and really like the grey color. But if it is going to be summer or later for the Stingrey I am ok with Punk’n or even white.

If you are buying your Jeep from that dealership, ask for 10% off. Pretty standard if you are making the larger vehicle purchase to extend that for the lift and accessories.
