Im right there with ya! The dealer in my area is now not happy with me that I talked to Koons. He has told me that Koons is a hoax and they just want to get me there so they can change the deal.:headbang: I have been very upset over this whole process and Im really tired of being on the defensive of paying too much. My boyfriend keeps telling me to take the Koons deal. So I need to make a decision by tomorrow. Yet another sleepless night :crying:
Sorry to hear that. The dealer has no reason to be unhappy, other than that is a basic negotiating leverage tactic (act more upset about xxx). You can be assured that the dealer would happily sell car X to anyone coming in. So they will certainly shop the same vehicle to 10s, hundreds of people until it sells if they have to. That's fine too. It is only smart you seek out more than one of X to see what the best price is. Most dealers certainly understand and if they don't, I usually go down the street...and if the price was close, they lose out even if it's a few bucks cheaper.

Just be upfront saying you want a fair deal and are happy to work with them if they have the best deal. You don't want to haggle and are willing to buy "today" (or whenever). If they can make that happen you would be so happy to buy from them :like:

GL with it all!

Sry if this has been asked. If I order the safety package do I get any discount to the LED package since the safety package comes with LED rears?

Yes. Do it now. You need to be affiliated for at least 30 days.
I just found out that my dealer accepts the tread lightly program! Yea! I won’t get my Jeep until after February 7th, so I should good as far as the membership goes. Thanks for everything!

Been lurking for a while but decided to join!

Wanted to introduce myself. I work for Putnam Chrysler in Putnam, CT and wanted to make it known that we'll gladly accept Affiliate pricing and Tread Lightly on any Jeeps! I'll be happy to answer any inventory questions as well. We have our first couple JL's that should be landing this week (if all goes well! First one should be here by the 12th!)

Hello @JLWF Dealer Guy , kind of a silly question I think, but just curious when a Jeep is ordered custom what kind of mileage can we expect to see on the odometer when we pick it up? The reason I ask is because videos coming in have a varying amount of mileage. One Rubicon from a dealer called Summit in WI showed 85 miles, while the same dealer had a sport that showed 18 miles. I have never ordered a vehicle brand new before so just wondering. 18 miles I can understand, driving it off the assembly line to a storage lot, then on the train/truck, then the dealer gets it and safety inspects it or what not....but 85 miles I assume is the dealer went and played with it right (obviously it was for sale and not a customer order).

I apologize if it has been answered:

I know the Jeep.com Build & Price has some bugs, but from my understanding Leather Seats on the JLU (Rubicon specifically for me) get the rear seat with fold down center armrest, and Cloth Seats get the normal seats, correct?

What about Tan Leather Seats? When I built my JLU Rubicon with Tan Leather Seats, the interior showed a normal rear seat, no center armrest. Is Black Leather the only option that gets the rear center armrest?

Thanks!

Probably right on them taking it out and driving it. Most come with like 4 miles on them. By the time they are stocked in programmed, whatever, I usually see them with around 8-13 miles. I have seen higher miles though. When the Cherokee came out they had issues with the computer and transmission talking to each other. Some of them had 60-90 miles by the time they got here.

There have been times we'll get a vehicle delivered and it'll have 40-60 Miles on it before it moves a foot on our lot. I've chalked it up as factory testing and every so often Chrysler picks are particular vehicles for quality to control and drives it themselves.

I was looking at some new JKs 2 weeks ago and found a decal on the driver side window stating this vehicle was used for quality testing and there may be 45 to 60 miles on the vehicle from that testing.

That wouldn't bother me a bit, if I knew that was the case.

Here is my build, the dealer forgot to add the leather seats invoice pricing is $1331 for leather, I'm going today after work to confirm this deal.

It' supposed to be 1% under invoice with $300 of on top of that. What should the total be before TTL? They also said when ordering the price might go up or down a hundred or two but that rarley happens
