I have the Mopar lift on my JLUR and I’m not really a fan of the factory bump stops and the kits included extensions. Combined length of the factory bump stops with extensions is about 4”, so my question is can I just run a 4” bump stop instead Of the 2” bump stop and 2” extension?

as long as your bump stops stops the upward travel before anything bad happens then doesn't matter, the extensions are sold as a cheaper easier way for them to to get the bumpstops in the right place

That makes sense, but I also didn’t take into account that a compressed 4” bump stop will actually be more like an 1” give or take
