Just ask @cosine he knows!
I installed front and rear RC diff skid plates on a 2019 JLU 2L Sahara with Dynatrac 2" lift and the rear has interference with the 48V battery factory skid (driver side) just like the previous 2 door post. Removed it on the trail to stop the metal on metal tapping, need to grind it down and reinstall.

Do you have a Dana 44 (M220) rear axle? That rear skid looks different than mine based on the angle going up to the driveshaft, could be the camera angle playing tricks on me though :)

I assumed it was an M200 Dana 40, though looking back at the window sticker printed by the used car dealer (not the original), it does say Dana 44 or M220. The skid plate seemed to be well made and bolt on fine (Rough Country says it's for M200), it just rubs on the 48V battery skid like the previous 2-door post and I think it will be fine once I grind the corner off.

Here's a picture from behind, you can see the 48V skid too.

Anyone can confirm if the rear m220 will fit 3.6 M220 Sahara even if specified Rubicon only?

Shouldn't be any difference, the D44 (m220) should be the same in the back for both models.

Yeah, it's pretty darn heavy, wouldn't want to have to ship it back on your dime in case there is some small difference. Can't imagine what it would be though?? Might shoot a PM to @chevymitchell he deals w/ all those differentials on a regular basis, might know one way or the other.

I know, but they specify Rubicon only! I chatted with them and said Rubicon only also. Dunno why.
Yes, it will work if you have the M220. The D44 housings are the same between Sahara and Rubicon.

Rough Country and their website details have always been off a bit. If you read the notes on their site for this part, it also says it will protect the front diff from off-road hazards.

Just installed my rear one and had to bend the tabs a little as it would rest on the seal for the driveshaft as it came. Heavy and solid, welds and cut marks are not pretty but it will do what it’s supposed to.

I stood on the 2 tabs with a long adjustable wrench so it took some force. Below is the before picture now it’s back 3/4 of an inch

Has anyone fit this diff skid plate with an arb diff cover? I at one point had the Go Rancho but after installing the arb diff cover it would no longer fit. The rough country looks like a better fit but looking to see if anyone has actually installed a rough country skid and arb diff cover combo. thanks in advance.

It wouldnt work with it either, there isnt space for the larger diff cover to fit in with the skid.

Hey Man,

Any suggestions would be appreciated. My clamp for the RC rear diff skid plate is very far off from lining up (see picture below). I was going to call quadratec and return it, but maybe there’s an easy, simple solution.

Thanks so much,
Andrew

Same here on Sahara. Just add 3 thick washers on each side. That is what I did.
