I had factory halogens so no programming required and no BSM to worry about working properly. I really like them. I will say if I had factory LEDS, it's not likely I would change them for these or any other taillights, esp if not plug and play.

Other than hyper flash on the dash side only they are plug n play for stock led only. Lol. If I didn’t need a tazer (or jscan) for tire size and a couple other things I wouldn’t spend the money to stop my dash blinker light from hyper flashing. The tail lights flash at normal speed

Plug-and-play means devices that are intended, and do, work perfectly when first used or connected, without reconfiguration or adjustment by the user. ;)

Your "short answer" would give a guy or gal reading your comment think.... get the impression that, the Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights were without issues... "worked great", etc...

Actually there are a few issues / shortcomings with the lights and not just that you'll need a programmer in the mix, if you are installing the offering on an LED optioned JL.

Reality is, some guys had slight fit issues, Blind Side Monitoring does not work properly for most, if not all... and a few that installed have had the lights fail, thanks to whatever... , etc...

Anyway, someone considering spending $350 on this offering, should not buy or to buy, based on reading a couple of forum posts... but rather, take the time to browse through all the posts in the mentioned threads and any other posts regarding this offering.... then make a decision..

YES, these flush mounts look great but there are some issues with them.

Most guy's (I plan to) will compromise and deal with the issues as the lights do look good... but other guys / gals, will not go with them until the lights are remedied of the issues they undeniably have.

Have there been any issues with water getting inside the body of the light? It seems its not really water proof especially where the BSM plastic piece is since its not really a solid piece, it pushes in a little. I dont have a BSM so it doesnt matter about that issue. I only wonder if water gets in there that will start causing issues. Thanks for any feed back.

One of the best things about Oracle is their customer service.

To each there own on the design, I know there flush mount witch may be a plus off road. I personally feel the factory LEDs are way better looking. Until Oracle can come up with a not so plan ugly looking light, I am looking at different ones. It kinda seems like the light was just thrown together without too much thought put into.

I know Oracle has a good industry name but your going to have to do better before I will spend my cash on these.

I was an early adopter of the Oracles, purchasing them during the pre-sale in Nov '21 and being the first to receive and install them in early Jan. '22. They've functioned flawlessly since Day 1, with no leakage or wonky operation observed. My Jeep doesn't have the BSM modules, either.

We're on opposite sides here, Darryl. :) My purchase of the Oracles was informed by my dislike of the bloated OEM tail lights, which look like nothing so much as tumors on a Wrangler. The extension pieces used on the XR trims, to ensure continued functionality of the BSM feature, only makes a bad look worse.

Aesthetics are subjective, though, so there's no right or wrong position here. Use what you like.

One of Jeeps trademark features. Plus the stories of them getting ripped off on trails has me scathing my head wouldn't other things hit before taillights like the fender flares on the rear. Plus the price is crazy for plastic and degraded function BSM system that we pay for in the price of a Jeep, that alot of people bitch about.
