No ID required. At the gate they will ask for your name and cross-reference it with their list to tell you which parking lot to park in. It's a good idea to print your confirmation email if by chance your name can't be found on the list. At the check-in table they will do the same (ask your name to look up on their list). At that table they will give you your t-shirt and vendor punch card. If you complete the punch card you bring it back and exchange it for a raffle ticket. You keep 1/2 and the other 1/2 goes into the hat. No name is associated to the raffle ticket number. They call a number and if you have a ticket with that number, you get the prize.
Edit: I just saw what you meant but their instructions saying to have an ID. Maybe they are changing it up this year but the process above is what they have been doing the past 7 years.
Edit to the Edit: I think what they mean by you have to be there to win is that if a ticket number is called and the person with the ticket does not respond (is not there), they toss the ticket and pull another one.
