I never suggested “overfilling” a unit bearing.EDIT - unless the seals are leaking, is the idea to simply "overfill" it? Would that result in a "pressure" issue for the seals since the sensor is bolted in?
I stated that it would be difficult to overfill a unit bearing with a syringe or a small hand-held mini grease gun (3 oz. cartridge variety).
If you’ve ever seen the minimal amount of grease that’s dispensed into them when manufactured, it would be somewhat easy, when using a bit of common sense, to see what amount of grease to add that would extend the life of the bearing assembly.
