EDIT - unless the seals are leaking, is the idea to simply "overfill" it? Would that result in a "pressure" issue for the seals since the sensor is bolted in?
I never suggested “overfilling” a unit bearing.

I stated that it would be difficult to overfill a unit bearing with a syringe or a small hand-held mini grease gun (3 oz. cartridge variety).

If you’ve ever seen the minimal amount of grease that’s dispensed into them when manufactured, it would be somewhat easy, when using a bit of common sense, to see what amount of grease to add that would extend the life of the bearing assembly.

From what I've gathered, the best chance of not having a compatibility issue would be to go with a synthetic base oil, lithium thickened, grease. Still, no guarantees.

The best practice would be removing the old grease and replacing it. But this is impractical in this assembly.

It was a question, I was not attempting to suggest that you personally were going to overfill it so apologies if it came across that way.
