Hello everyone. I'm completing a camper-trailer build and in order to avoid carrying both a trailer spare and a vehicle spare, I'd like to put Jeep hubs on the trailer so that I could use the Jeep's spare wheel/tire should the trailer get a flat. My local guy told me that JL wheel studs are slightly bigger diameter than JK wheel studs, but that it wouldn't be a problem fitting a JL wheel on the JK hub (presumably because the holes in the JL wheel are slightly bigger than a JK wheel's holes).
I am therefore considering putting JK hubs on the trailer's axle. Am I missing anything here? Sound like a viable approach?
I am assuming that my local Jeep shop suggested this approach because JK hubs and wheels would be less expensive than JL.
Thanks,
Myron
