I for one am happy to see people excited about forums again. The glory days of forums faded with the introduction of Facebook groups and it became almost impossible to have a productive tech discussion about anything.

This forum has been supremely helpful...I even ordered from a guy who was recommended on here. Being a Jeep greenhorn, I pretty much surf thru all the various threads and learn all that I can. Nothing wrong with gaining knowledge.
On the subject, (on youtube) aside from that mechanic dude in North Carolina, some guys from Spicer (I’m pretty sure) made a video breaking down quite a bit on axles and gearing...it’s like 15 mins it pretty good!

I realize that this might not be a cool thread, but just wondering the obvious. (So please I beg no super snarky remarks)

I check this site like once or twice an hour (while at work - ), but often throughout the day. It's amazing all of these ideas for a jeep. I feel like a kid that just got a new nintendo and now I wonder what games all my friends have.

Would this be considered a Jeep owners porn site? (So addicting!) I mean I find myself thinking "That's so hot!", "I'd so do that", or my favorite "that is the crazy position without falling over, but i'd like to try with mine"

Guilty as charged! This has definitely become a bit of an addiction... But hey, at $40k+ for most of us, a Jeep is a big purchase: if we get extended enjoyment out of it and a great community to boot, why not?! As far as addictions go, this feels like a pretty healthy and rational one!

Hello, my name is Wesley and ...... and ........ and I’m a Jeep and JL wrangler forums addict!! There I said it.

Seriously though it was all the information and helpful people on here that helped me decide to buy my first Jeep. I have always wanted one since I was 16 but always let friends and family talk me out of it. Glad I didn’t listen to them this time because I love my new Jeep. Traded in my huge Toyota Tundra Crewmax truck for it and never looked back.
