I placed an order in late 2020 for a 2021 Mercedes for my wife, down payment, notification and all. 5 months later, no info on my order and no idea of when it would be made. Canceled it and guess what,

I Did not dispute your statement but, no info on a 25 392 on Jeeps website and you cannot even build one. In the past, you could at least pull up the model year on their website.

Not making a firm statement Jeep will not make them, but I am not holding my breath that they will. Again, remember they stated the 24 was the Final Edition... then the 25 so who knows.
Jeep’s website is notoriously behind available ordering options. You can build one if you call your dealership and ask. I’ve got a VIN number, all I’m waiting for now is scheduling.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am curious what changes were done, hopefully fixing the exhaust.
The only changes I’m aware of compared to the 2024 Final Edition is the 2025FE no longer includes a Jeep tool kit and the front bumper hoop is removed. Both of which I’m fine with.

I am ok with it as well. Still not sure if I want a new one, other than the screen and power seats and potentially a muted exhaust, I am leaning towards not worth it.

If you can get a good price on a 24 in an acceptable color why not ? What’s to gain with a 25 ? I’m not sure if you want or don’t want a more muted exhaust ? If not it’s corrected with aftermarket, the AWE tucks up nicely. “Quiet” is a good half way between stock quiet and loud that I have found a Goldilocks level that sounds good without being a cop magnet.

Some people have said the '24 exhaust has more drone on deceleration. I've never driven a '24 and wouldn't know a difference anyway. My '22 has had an AWE exhaust for two years, after smashing the low hanging stock exhaust tips. The AWE exhaust sounds better anyway. It is just right on quiet mode, and you can switch to loud mode if you have to start up while parked next to an EV in a parking lot.

Yeah, Trucks and Cars have it removed. Except the HD line. I'm surprised they are still in the Durango as the Charger outsells it by a bunch as does the RAM. Jeep still has not held to many promised or stated info on the Wrangler 392 so we will see.
Well the Charger/Challenger were cancelled. Daytona is electric only so far. The Durango is the only one left by default. The new ICE Charger hasn't started production yet. Police departments are moving more and more to SUVs, the Charger especially had a small trunk that officers never really cared for.

That's what I have read as well. Took out the 24, did not sound as loud as the 23.

I have a 2024. I didn’t notice drone under deceleration. Then again, the loud exhaust of the 6.4L V8 was one of the reasons I got the 392. 🙂

I enjoy every moment driving this beast.

As someone who has had both a 21 and a 24, this is not true. The exhaust is completely identical between the model years. The loud exhaust on decel is one of my most enjoyable parts about the jeep. Reminds me of our old 79 J10 360 decel with flow masters. Definitely isn't a drone. Love it.

We are not talking about the same thing. I have a 23 and 24 392. The 23 is perfect. I'm almost allways in sport plus and always have the exhaust in performance on both. The 24 shifts to 8th gear as fast as possible where the 23 holds the gears out longer.

The main point is the 24 has some kind of bass boom i.e. drone on deceleration that is similar to just having the rear window open while driving. You hear and feel this, The 23 doesn't do this. On my 23 you just get a loud exhaust and not the bass boom (drone).

My 21 shifted to 8th instantly but my 24 with the XR package holds gears. Hit up livernois, they can tune the transmission shift timing. Helped my 21 a lot.

Make sure you get the 4cylinder shit disabled
