Is this anti seize on my brakes? I have a 2019 JL Rubicon and I was just checking my brakes and noticed it. Is it a normal pratice to put anti seize on new brakes?

It could be copper based anti-seize, which is used in high-temp environments or some kind of disc brake lubricant.

The slider areas (as in your pic) are one of the places where disc brake lube needs to be used to ensure the pads slide smoothly and evenly. I also lube the slider pins/bolts and where the caliper touches the pad backing plate. Usually keeps the brakes from squealing.

Thanks, But do they put this disc brake lubricant from the factory on a new Jeep? Never seen this before on my previous Jeeps I owned.

Don't know for sure. I just checked my 2019 JLUR (with 1,200 miles) and I didn't see any copper colored lubricant on the brakes. My 2018 JLUR didn't have any either and they started squealing within a few months after buying it.

I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth at this point. Lubrication there is a good thing and will hopefully keep them from squealing.
