For those reading this thread.. Consider buying a Tazer JL holder versus Velcro-ing it or zip tying the Tazer JL up underneath.

With a decent holder, you just easily slip the Tazer JL either in or out of the holder.

I have tried a couple of different Tazer JL holders and the pick of the litter in regard to a Tazer JL holder is the one mentioned here:

Made in the USA by a forum member/a fellow JL owner... Real decent offering and the price is right..
Fastens on with an existing screw....

I’m sure a few smart people bought it when they got there Tazer, but there are a boatload (like me) that realized how hard it is to install that darn thing, so had to cut their hand to hell a second time to unplug it to install the SGW cable.
Right! I wish I would have got the cable when I ordered the Tazer JL, could have saved that $12.95 shipping charge just for that little cable. Sheesh...it was as hard to plug in as the original cable was to get unplugged! I'm glad that is done.
So if any of you JL folks are still considering the Tazer, definitely get the extension cable with it. IMO

I bought the Tazer JL and installed it in late 2018. Used it for the first year and then as time went on after tire size changes just kinda forgot about it. Now since I took my JLUR in recently to get a FOB programed I wonder if they did any updates to the JLUR programming. They did hook a laptop up and he did show me some codes I had from when I Had a failed AUX battery and bypassed it...... sheesh Would that would mean I would have to start from scratch with an UN programmed Marry/Unmarry Tazer file please recommend / help. Now in panic mode (me not the JLUR).
