You would probably feel differently about that if I had your cell phone number instead of @gek 's. Maybe he has to weigh in on that. 🤣
Your adventures are like a dark dramatic comedy (probably not a genre) where the audience isn’t sure whether to laugh or cry but they’re always hoping the underdog prevails,

Don't get me started on how I ended up fishing a screwdriver out of by shower drain last night using a magnet. 😂

I thought it was the dirty, expensive part.

Man,

I almost sent it on one of these controllers and was going to hold off on install until the thaw mod releases but I guess I’ll just save my money and keep it stock. It doesn’t seem as if RPM wants to actually improve or fix the part? Idk, not something I’m willing to take a risk with. Maybe I’m just paranoid lol

There's a weatherproof socket manufactured by the same company that produces the controller hardware. I'm looking into how available the sockets are in the US, and for better or worse they'd likely add a lot of cost to the harness.

Just throwing this out there as a possible Plan C:
I've sourced a variety of esoteric electrical products and connectors from the linked vendor through the years, and I've nothing but good experiences with the company and the products.

While some items are listed as motorcycle-specific, the trained eye will know that the potential use cases are more broadband than what's suggested.

Hope that helps. :)

Not sure if Mouser or Digi-Key were mentioned, but they've been useful for other connectors...dunno about Jeeps.

The other option is to use the Tazer Cooldown Function (free to those who already own) and/or ask them to request more automated parameters.

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ogramming-to-help-prevent-overheating.125710/
This option likely isn't technically viable.

Tazer Cooldown Mode uses a spoofed sensor parameter to trigger an override of the primary parameters used to determine fan speed. As a result, the override likely can't be stepped; and the primary parameters likely can't be spoofed without significant unintended consequences.

JScan's Trail View Fan button similarly can't be stepped, since it relies on a factory Service Procedure (which is also why it's time-limited).
