Interesting observation this morning on the way to work. I usually have it it 4H but switched to 2H this morning and the vibration at 60+mph has disappeared. So I'm guessing this is what you were talking about with the front driveshaft.

Wait you just drive around in 4h usually?

Yeah, you don’t have the FAD so the front ds is still spinning even in 2wd but it’s not under a load like if in 4H or even 4H auto if you have that… this means your caster and pinion angle are good if vibration went away in 2wd… don’t drive around in 4H, the wheels need to slip a little, on pavement there’s to much grip and it will put to much stress on your drivetrain…..

that was my thought as well. we don't even drive in 4h and it is like this most days...maybe there are a lot of alligators in the roads in florida.

I have 4H and 4H Auto in my '24 and was running in 4H Auto, which I thought was the preferred way as it will automatically deliver power to needed wheels when loss of traction occurs, otherwise it's basically running in 2H.

I wouldn’t run it in 4H auto on dry pavement conditions, I know what “they” say but imo, you shouldn’t use all wheel drive unless it’s needed in these rigs….4H auto is designed for if the roads are clear and have slick or bad patches, it will kick in when it’s needed, but imho, it’s not a good idea to use it for no reason…. Just my .02 here….

What you're saying makes a ton of sense, so back to 2H it is until I'm back on the trails or are driving through some inclement weather.

I'd rather less stress on the driveline components then the extra torque in 1st/2nd gear anyways. Not out here trying to win fastest off the line races with anyone lol
