I work literally around the corner from you guys and have what seems to be almost the same configuration. Looking forward to seeing some pics of how this works out!
Howdy neighbor :jk:

We'll definitely be sure to post up some pictures of it once we get some parts installed. That way you can get some motivation to do the same to yours!

Any big plans ahead for your JLUR?

Which wheels are they? They look like the Fuel Wheels Trophy Matte Black w/ Anthracite Ring Wheel I am looking to get.

Just received a call from my dealership that my JLUR arrived this morning...about an hour ago...unannounced on a truck. As of last Friday, I was told that it was in the rail-yard in Marion, OH with about 75,000+ other Jeep Wranglers awaiting shipment. :surprised: Hmmmm. Well, with it arriving today, it has been EXACTLY 4 weeks since it was ordered. Will pick it up this evening. :like::clap: Photos to follow at some point this week.
Congratulations! But, WTF?! I ordered in mid January! Very happy for you of course!

Hey guys, so I finally completed my move from New York to California, and got to work on my JLUR.

You may remember the photo of my parents picking it up from the dealership for me - it was used in a few articles, and I included it below as a reference point to where my Jeep is now.

As you will see, this is no rock-crawler build. This Jeep is my daily commuter, weekend offroader. Mostly forest trails, fire roads, desert, sand dunes, etc. My wife and I also have to load my 1 year old boy in, hence the step.

Here's what's done so far:

1. The wheels are Fuel Beast, 18" x 9", with 4.5" backspacing and -12mm offset.

2. The tires are 35" x 12.5" BFG KO2s.

This wheel and tire combo will make the tires stick out around 2" from the wheel wells, which I think looks awesome. It's a dramatic difference over the stock tires that hide inside.

I purchased the wheels and tires from ExtremeTerrain.com, which shipped them mounted and balanced with TPMS sensors. They went right on with no trouble. Big thanks to them!

3. Mopar 2" lift ordered through Quadratec.com. Installed at 4WheelParts with alignment done too.

4. Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit.

5. Mopar oversized spare tire kit (may not be necessary)

6. Mopar grab handles, front and rear.

7. Redrock 13" antenna.

In my garage, waiting to go on:

7. Mopar grille and winch guard hoop for Rubicon steel bumper.

8. ARB twin on-board compressor.

9. Smittybilt Gen2 X2O 10,000 lb. Winch, Synthetic Rope & Wireless Control

10. Spider Web Shade

Ordered, and waiting to come in:

11. JCR winch plate for Rubicon steel bumper

12. MORE trunk wall compressor mount

13. Aries ActionTrac power "step-within-a-step".

Looks great! Have you determined where you are going to mount your ARB? I’d like to install one in my Rubi but haven’t decided the best place for it yet.

Exact same thing happened to me. Spreadsheet showed it sitting in Marion for over a week then one day it was miraculously at the dealer.

Fully loaded except no leather and no cold weather group. Of course, no matching painted top or fenders either.

M.O.R.E. sells a plate for mounting it in the engine compartment, which I think is ideal, but it only fits the JK.

For the JL, they now offer a mounting kit for the trunk. It fits on the side above the wheel well. I'm going to try that, and if it doesn't work, look into an under-seat mount.

Waiting for the spacers to be delivered and installed to make it drivable. Will upload better pictures when it’s completed.

those are 37's with factory rims you have there?
I was considering putting 35 on 18's but if I can put them on the factory rims, even better. I actually like the factory rims
