Hey!
Working on adding a sub amp under the passenger seat of the JL and debating power wire options. Wire is now routed within engine bay from battery towards drivers side to the commonly used grommet, into the pedal area, over hump in front of console and considered routing as per various videos (See blue line)...unfotunately Im like 2 feet short and am considering the alternative routing along the pass side of the center hump (See yellow line).
Anybody routed like this along the floor (Under carpet)?...any concerns or possible issues with this routing?...
The issue that made me question this was this label as I was pulling back the carpet (Please see image on heat warning)....I pulled back carpet after a 20 mile commute today and metal was actually cool in that area, but its 46 and not the summer 110 routinely seen here.
Any input?
Thanks!
