AM Shark Grille Issues(?)

Hello everyone! First time Jeep owner and poster here…. Super stoked to be a part of the group!

I just purchased a new shark grill from AM Off-road and after hours of creating, fitting, and securing mesh on it, I go to install it and the dang thing isn’t even close to fitting! Did they change the grill size from 2021 to 2022?! Anyone else have this issue?!

Welcome to the forums. There should not be any changes in grills from ‘21 to ‘22.

Lol. You're going to be hard pressed to get much help or sympathy for any of the after market grills. They're basically universally hated by every Jeep owner.

People are dumb, ignore them, do what you want with your Jeep. Is it possible you got a grill for a JK wrangler? Does it have holes in it for headlights and turnsignals?

Welcome to the Jeep family! However real Jeeps have 7 slot grilles, send the shark grille back!!! LOL

See side bar Pic, 1965 CJ 5 brand new in pic, seven slot grille!! If ya don't have a 7 slot grille ya might as well have a Bronco...! Crap, even a Compass has a 7 slot grille!!!

Enjoy though and do whatever it's yours!!

No it’s definitely for a JL (no light holes). The way that it’s molded along the top that is preventing it from fitting properly. I could manipulate/force it into place however it’s not a flat surface. It’s like a V ??. Heads to ALL (whether you want the grill or not), American Modified….. NOT quality products!

The first real Jeeps had more than 7 slots, some had more than 9 because they were rebar. You civilians need to stop trying to spread falsehoods ?
