I have been hearing a soft groaning or grinding or wheezing kind of sound from my front end of my 2019 JLUR (with a whopping total of 2K miles on it), and sometimes when I turn the steering wheel at low speed, I feel a pulsation in the amount of power steering boost being applied. Am I screwed? Is it possible that I have a bad power steering pump? (Pretty sure it is not just a belt slipping - not that kind of squeal, though it is possible the belt is simply not glazed yet...) Thoughts?

Take it into your dealership and get it checked out. You have the 3 year/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Get it checked out now while it's paid for.

The JL's do not use a belt. Have dealer look into it.

As other members have mentioned, if you do end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be glad to help with the servicing process.
