I just checked my voltage on each battery after washing it and the main was at 12.6 and ESS was at 12.58 and EVIC displays 14.2, it’s been a month since a trickle charge and I don’t do any long drives just back and fourth to work 14 days a month and it’s a 60 round trip drive and I have ESS disabled using a smart stop start module but when tested it works fine, the voltage may have read a bit high since as it had been running idle a minute or two before checking as I pulled it in the garage after washing

This was helpful. Thanks. I just drove to pick up a small travel trailer and on the way back I was noticing the voltage dropping slowly. I was afraid the trailer was draining the battery or the alternator was straining. Based on this thread, sounds like it’s completely normal.

Mine was back up there around 14.6V constantly, and could hear the alternator running constantly. When I had the jeep in "Run" but not starting the engine, the voltage would drop and get down to 11.5-11.6 but then jump back up when started.

They tested the batteries a few weeks ago and were "normal" but then did the full testing (about 2 hour test each battery) and found that it failed the load testing on their GR8. They replaced both main and aux battery today, and now the ESS is working again, and voltage is reading 12.7-13.1V unless coasting it would start charging again. So if you are constantly that high voltage, hear the alternator running all the time, and ESS doesn't work or says "battery charging" all the time, maybe bring it in and have them do the full battery tests on each individually.

My alternator is showing a constant 14.6 14.7 volts. Is this something I should be concerned about?? I have read many threads and not really sure where it should be.
