Not really. They hail from a bit further east of here. The more local group, Northern Minnesota Jeepers, is a little less formal. You can find them on the web/Facebook too. Lots of experienced peeps with both jeeps and other rigs. The were the force behind the Mesabi Mountain Trail becoming reality.

Yes. You need a trail sticker. Available to purchase at the park.

Last week I installed the 3.5" Geolift from Maximus 3 with Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks and 38" Patagonias on 17" black Hutchison Rockmonster bead locks. This kit is a geometry correction, high steer kit with a YETI drag link. Part of the project included adding the Warn Zeon 10s winch to the Steel bumper group and this week I installed an ARB dual compressor onboard air system with an air delivery system to air-up/air-down all four tires to preset PSI. I'm also using the Taser JL to adjust for bigger tires and play around with other options and settings. Keeps me busy for hours...

@Sven , that's a great looking rig! I'll be installing Rockmonsters on my JLURD once it arrives. Did you have to use spacers with your 38" Patagonias? The backspacing on the Rockmonsters is pretty deep; 4.63". Also, did you re-gear for your 38s? If so, what ratio?

Took delivery of my first Jeep on Monday! I live in downtown MPLS.
Can’t wait to begin the journey. Already “modded” the Jeep with a stubby antenna and removed the front bumper end caps.

Can anyone speak to the state of the Iron Range OHV Park? I'm trying to pull together a day-trip for next weekend. Are any of the trails changed from last year? I assume the park is open and going there shouldn't be an issue given the current coronapocalype situation. Thanks.

From what I’ve heard park is closed, as is campground.
