I see everyone talking about the new Bronco. Honestly all the extra technology is going to have more issues and that 10R50 transmission is garbage. My wife’s 10R50 failed at 6500 miles and she’s 2000 miles into her second and it’s already showing issues. Wife is looking at the 2022 Grand Cherokee.

The Bronco and the JL are about the same tech wise. The 10R50 is awesome unless you get a dud; which is the same as the ZF 8 speed in the JL.

Your post shows envy and jealousy versus just enjoying there is competition that got us the 392 and XR packages.

2 duds in a row? My mom also purchased an exploder a few months after my wife and she’s on her second dud because her second 10R50 is also failing. So between the 2 of us we haven’t found a good transmission out of 4 and neither of them have over 10k miles on their vehicles.

I made a serious attempt to buy a Bronco but the dealer was very vague and not helpful. So, I went down the street to the Chrysler/Jeep dealer that I bought our Renegade Trailhawk from and ordered a Wrangler equipped the way I want. 6 weeks later, I drove it home.

Result?

I'm a very satisfied Jeeper, especially after my trip to Moab last month. But I don't hate Broncos. Heck, my stepdaughter just got a Badlands last week. If she wasn't so far off, we'd do some off roading and compare capabilities.

I don't hate the Bronco, it's just that this is a Wrangler forum. If I want to talk about Broncos I'd go to a Bronco Forum. I go to an Indian forum to discuss my Indian.
