    It sucks where I live, having tread outside the fender will get you pulled over and a failed inspection. Definitely limits offset options.

    It gets confusing because brands like AEV have 5.77 backspace and with their lift they tested 35x12.5 and 37x12.5 . Maybe because their wheels are 17x8.5 this works. But there are tons of threads regarding this.

    Depends what lift kit you want to run. Most require 4.75 or less backspace.
