All Dash lights…again

Hello all, first occurrence was back in July and again yesterday. Just driving along and all my dash warning lights came on. On both occasions I pulled over shut Jeep off and restarted and all lights were off. Dealer had Jeep a week the first time and were unable to identify the cause. I checked all fuses and they are good and pushed all the way in. I have not checked for codes yet but wanted to get your thoughts. Could this be the wire I read about on passenger side wheel well. Oil level is good and it runs great. Only have 6k miles. Thx for input.

My two guesses would be battery and that wire bundle. Being a 2023 the battery is probably unlikely.

You may already know since you asked about it, but to find the wire bundle follow the passenger footwell firewall up. It's supposed to be behind a heat shield where it gets close to the exhaust down pipe.

Edit: It may be worth checking that green canbus connector block behind the glovebox. I've heard people say those have gotten hot and melted. This is me really grasping for something though.

Had the same thing happened to my 2018, dealer found it was the Can buss behind the glovebox

I had the same problem with my diesel. I pulled both battery leads, waited awhile, and then powered back up. Fixed. This was almost three years ago with no recurrence.

My 2018 has been doing the same with more frequent occurrences. This week it got even worse and I lost my speedometer and power steering and other indicators on the dash were blank, including my mileage. Then, when I got home, I could not turn off the jeep. Pressed the ignition button several times and it would go to accessory mode and it finally killed the engine. However, I still could not get the ignition to go to the off position. It was either on acc, or run. I thought I was going to have to pull the battery cable. Fortunately I have a taser programmer and I was able to clear all the codes out and was then able to get the ignition to return to the off position. I showed to have 16 different codes before I cleared them out. Many people are reporting the green C-cann block behind the glove box. Instead of replacing it, I pulled all the connections and used electronic cleaner on each one and then put it back together. It's only been one day so far, but I have not experienced anymore issues as of yet. If that changes, I'll report back on this thread. I read that the problem is high heat in the area of the buss. I turned on the Jeep with the air conditioner running. Not only do the heater core lines run close by, but the exhaust from the blower motor blows directly onto the buss with substantial heat. So, I can see why heat would be a problem. I plan on making a heat shield of some sort to keep things cooler in that area. As of right now, everything is working fine. One last note; the wiring harnesses can be difficult to pull from the buss block. So, instead of trying to release the Locking tab from the top and pulling, go from the back side with a small flathead screwdriver and press in and pull up. Pressing in from the back side releases the tab easily and makes the job super easy versus releasing the tab from the top and pulling upward. I hope that makes sense. There is a video on YouTube that I watched with this particular procedure. I tried it the other way and did not have any luck as I could only get one of the connections to come off. After send the video and pushing from the back side with the small screwdriver, things came off easily and I was able to do the cleaning I described.
