Fantasmo!! What led you to this new gear/brands?
First off, the Synergy sector shaft and track bar brace was a long time coming. I was just dragging my feet on it because I want to go PSC Hydro assist, but until the money tree blooms, bang for the buck, I went this route. My steering was never "horrible" but that's also like my vision. Ive always been nearsighted and never thought the least about it, until I put on corrected vision and an entire new world opened up to me. Its like that.
The belly skids....a lot of research went into those, aluminum or steel, zinc or powdercoated, full belly pan or just engine skid? I went with Rusty's Offroad steel skids because in my situation, weight wasn't a factor. I'm already heavy as s**t plus the price of these and the coverage of protection sold me. Speaking of heavy....my wheels and tires. I changed from 38" Milestars for only 1 reason, the longevity of them in my geological location (Arizona) wasn't working out for me. They are amazing tires for the price and have great offroad manners, but Gravy Train is a daily driver and hard core weekend warrior. The heat of my daily drive was treating my tread like butter on a fresh flapjack. I chose the 39" BFG KM3s because I wanted a bit extra in clearance and a harder compound for the daily drive. Its been only 3 days of driving on these and I'm super impressed on how quiet they are, with such an aggressive tread pattern, and the ride even feels "softer" if that makes sense. Haven't been out in the testing fields (dry river beds) yet but those reviews will come soon.

20,000 miles. With a daily PSI of 26 that I am now finding out was too low. The chalk test for Pats won't work to find your daily driving psi because they are built differently. The Pats need to be ran a closer to an OEM pressure so only the middle has road contact. I'm sure that lead to their early retirement in addition to their soft compound on my hot roads.

Thanks! That's what i figured. I've increased mine from 29 to 32 and now to 35 (so far) so that aligns with what you saw. I will prob try another brand after these, BUT cheapo's, so doesnt put you out too much.
