Good afternoon everyone,

I have a 2018 JLU with just over 100,000 miles. Recently the AC started blowing hot air for around 20 minutes and then the AC clutch kicks in and the AC runs fine. I hooked up my buddy's AC gauges when the compressor was running and everything looks good. I replaced the relay with a known good relay, and I replaced the AC pressure transducer hoping that would fix the issue. The ambient temperature sensor is working normally. Does anyone have any other suggestions to try prior to replacing the clutch/compressor completely?

Good afternoon. I have the same issue on my A/C where I have to drive 15 miles or so before it kicks in. When it's working the A/C blows cold. Everything in terms of freon level and relays are good. Does anyone know if the HVAC control module could be the issue?

I know you said you checked it, but it still sounds like low on Freon to me. Not much, but just enough that it takes a few minutes to get high enough to work.

Thanks for the feedback. I will have it check again and add Freon if needed.
