AEV Raises Prices at Least 10%

Most if not all prices increased 10 % or more across the board - some companies like Quadratec have not reflected the price increase yet - shop around if you're interested -

Yes, I noticed most AEV wheels are now $300. They were $260 for years.

As with everyone else, must be the cost of moving suppliers out of China.

Their wheels are still made in China even after price increases. AEV had stated a while back that they could not find a quality cast wheel manufacturer in the US. There are probably options, but not ones that would let AEV be competitive.

The price increases we are seeing are due to raw material cost and to a smaller degree, transportation costs. I was warned that manufacturers were going to be bumping prices significantly starting in September... so i'm not surprised to see it happening at retailers too.

lots of high quality wheels are made in Taiwan. much better than dealing with China.

Dont buy crappy wheels made in China or Tawain.

I started making my own and I live in the U.S. so they are U.S. made! contact me if interested. Materials are also locally sourced, like very locally. The wheel hubs I sourced from my own bathroom's toilet paper roll. Here is a picture of my work:

Nearly ALL cast aluminum wheels are made in China. Even OEM wheels for so-called American vehicles.

Diesel fuel is up over $1.28/gallon compared to this same time last year.

I run hotshot, and fuel is every transportation company’s biggest expenditure.

This screenshot from a fuel app I use for tracking all of my fuel purchases will be an eye opener for some.

I bought my 2018 RAM 4500 new in April 2018.
