This is a pretty big project but I finally got OEM passive entry added on dad's JL. I tried to make a decent video showing the general process if you were thinking about tackling the job yourself.

What exactly is "passive entry" and what is the purpose? I think I know but, not sure...
Passive entry is just the name of the system that allows you to keep the key in your pocket, walk up to the vehicle grab the door handle and the vehicle automatically unlocks. You can then get out of the vehicle and push the small button on the exterior door handle and lock the vehicle without ever touching your key fob. Some JL's and JT's were not optioned with it when built.

Gotcha...Yea I just walk up to my JLR-X and open the door, not touch key...My 2020 F 450 truck does same...

Just added the passive entry to my JLUR 2022 here in India. Thanks to @AllMoparParts.com Benny for hooking me up with the single side system. Since mine was a RHD vehicle it was confusing in the beginning as to which part to order as I just wanted the driver side.
Just ordered the regular LHD driver side part and my buddy installed it.
So here in India the JLUR already had the wiring built in and the connector taped off near the door handle. We realised this while installing. So we used the same wiring already present and just changed out the Door handle and connected the taped off socket into the door handle.
Then I used JSCAN to programme it and it works like a charm.
So for anyine using JSCAN the steps are:
1) Connect the SWG bypass and the dongle and start JSCAN.
2) Go to Adaptations and Passive entry
3) Turn Passive entry ON
4) Turn Keyless Go ON
5) Then start from Trunk lock ON, Then i went to the doors starting from my drivers side which is RHD and then front left and then rear doors.

So when you go to switch them On/Activate it shows Smart switch/Simple switch/ CAN/ Not present. Select smart switch.

Disconnected JScan and MAGIC everything worked.

Thanks to everyone in the Forum.
